Creating Art Journal Pages

A few days ago I hosted an  'Art Journal Workshop' for some of my closest friends.  I have been talking to them about trying it and several of them said it really wasn't for them.  Well, they loved it. I showed them how to start, demoed some techniques to use, and offered suggestions to improve their pages when asked.  We spent several hours before lunch, then had a lunch break and then continued working on our pages for a few mores hours.

The following are some of the finished art journal pages.

 

Marge did this fabulous page and plans to frame it.  I love the colors.  Background is really lovely.

 

 

Ann created this page of IOWA.  I love her colors and all the fun elements she used.  This will be wonderful framed.  I think she has a spot picked out to hang it.

The girls decided this one would look great in my bathroom.  So, I bought a glass floating frame to put it in and it looks wonderful.
