These cards are so easy and so much fun to make. I used a toy, made for children, to make the background designs. It comes with a base that spins when you turn it on. You place a piece of paper on it, turn on the spinner and drop paint into holes to get the fun designs. Next find an interesting stamp design to add to the card after the paint dries.
I photographed these after placing them in clear envelopes so you will see some reflection on the cards.

Creating with friends
This photo was taken a few years ago at the Puyallup fair. During the summer we try to plan several outings together because some of us go south for the winter. We met when we were all working at Boeing.
On August 16th, 2013 we did a crafty project at my home and I fixed us a lunch of quiche and fruit. The following are photos of our creations.

Mixed Media Girl Canvases
Just finished these canvases. It was so much fun creating them.
I received my inspiration for the first canvas from a photo I took of a friend who was standing on a stool taking a photo with her I-Pad. The position of her pose was what caught my attention. I printed the photo and used it as a pattern. The end result looks nothing like the original.

This canvas started with the background, then the chair. The chair was a black and white picture that I painted with markers and acrylic paint. The flower shaped stencil is a fly swatter I bought at the dollar store.
