In February I took another art journal class from Dina Wakley. The first 4 pages are from that class. I love her style. She teaches wonderful techniques for using stencils, stamps and color.
The following pages are from my personal Art Journal. I think anyone who wants to create art should do this. These pages are great ways to try out new techniques or just do what ifs?. It's always surprising how they end up.
This blog includes art journaling, mixed media projects, reviews of favorite products, papercrafts, photos, travel journals and more.

Love Today
Starting a blank canvas with no idea of what you are going to do with it can be both challenging and fun.
My first decision was my color scheme. Next I added some collage papers for my 1st layer. Then I started adding my color. I did this with acrylic paints, stencils, markers and pens. The girl was collaged from different patterned papers. I finished with rub-ons, doodles and some stamping.
The words on the dress say:
I'm not afraid of
tomorrow
for I have seen
yesterday
and I love
today.
